My name is Amanda. I love to bake. I can read baking cookbooks for hours. My attention caught by techniques and ingredients that make up each beautiful dessert, all the while anxious to make the recipes myself.
Throughout my whole life, one of my favorite things to do was be creative. Art was, and still is, a pastime for me. I had my favorite mediums to work with, but over time my medium has become food. My love for food is nothing short of infatuation; I cannot say when I first began to notice it, but I do know that the passion was always deep inside of me waiting to be conceived and nutured.
I am also fascinated by food’s immense power to tell stories, fish out memories, encapsulate histories, and comfort the very core of a one’s being.
